SolaRain LLC provides commercial and residential solar and wind site assessment services to help you reduce your dependence on public utilities and fossil fuels. Certified renewable energy Site Assessments are used to determine whether your business, non-profit, or home is a good fit for the installation of a photovoltaic (Solar Electric) or wind system to help meet your energy needs. We also provide consulting services to engineering and architecture firms during the beginning phases of solar electric projects. SolaRain LLC has received the Certificate of Knowledge from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). We also make and sell rain barrels and solar powered rain barrel pumping kits. The rain barrels, made from recycled 55-gallon plastic barrels which formerly stored food items, are used to store rain water from the roof of your house or garage which you can then use to water your garden and landscape plants. For larger gardens and landscaped areas, a solar powered water pumping kit that pumps water from several connected rain barrels to a garden hose can be a great help. The goal of SolaRain is to empower individuals to protect the environment at home and at work.
