MREA Certificate Exam Request Form

If you have special needs related to taking the exam please email Nicole Rice and the MREA will work with you to make reasonable accommodations to meet your test taking needs.

Exam takers must make their own scheduling arrangements to have the Site Assessor exams proctored through a local librarian, university testing center, tech school testing center, or at the MREA offices in Custer, WI.

Please submit your exam request at least two weeks before you plan to schedule your exam.
Exam score results will be emailed within 2 weeks of taking the exam.
The exams are all open book, open note, open laptop.
Make your own arrangements to have the Site Assessor exams proctored through your local librarian, university testing center or tech school.
The exam fee is $50. (Pay exam fee here)
Schedule approximately 4 hours to take the PV or Solar Thermal exams.
Schedule approximately 8 hours for Wind exam.
Schedule 2-3 Hours for all other exams.
For the PV exam please bring your MREA Basic PV manual with for reference.
A passing score is 85% or higher.
